This series of core courses is compulsory for all students following the TESS programme. Three modules of 26 hours each are offered over three semesters for a total of 9 ECTS. The classes are presented in English.
This module covers the fundamentals of making measurements including the main families of measurement techniques, constraints for space‐borne instrumentation and laboratory experiments.
KTES8AA1 Processing and managing data
In this module, students learn about processing data with regards to databases and data mining, image processing, numerical modeling and applications of artificial intelligence.
KTES9AA1 Putting data in broader context
This module provides a more general approach by addressing questions around the economics of global change, social adaptability to global change and environmental law.
